Go Green Business Breakfast – Sustainable Sourcing

Join us at the first Go Green Business Breakfast to discuss sustainable business and share best practice.

River Cottage Canteen are kindly hosting us and we will be discussing Sustainable Sourcing.

Speakers will include

  • Christine Storry – Sustainable Procurement Expert , who will help you understand how your company can purchase ethically, taking into account all the environmental, social and economic considerations. She will also cover what smart businesses can stand to gain through sourcing sustainably and explain how a sustainable procurement policy will help you not only save money but also improve your reputation.
  • River Cottage Canteen – Ben Bulger, Executive Chef, River Cottage Canteen will explain how sustainable sourcing runs deep in the River Cottage model, not just in terms of food, but also everything from the building materials they source to the cleaning company they use. Ben will also explain some challenges and how they overcame them, and also give some top tips to other businesses looking to green their business sourcing policy.
