The UK’s Low Carbon Energy Policy: Evening Panel Discussion

–9pm, Bristol

In the last few years – with changes to incentives & tariffs, shifts in governmental focus, modified support packages, innovations in technology, uncertainty in large scale projects and a turbulent international environment – the landscape for low carbon energy has been tempestuous and not without controversy.

With a snap election called, a background of Brexit negotiations and the Metro Mayoral election for the West of England, the time is right to investigate what our energy industries need from our next government.

Focused on potential UK Energy Policy, join our panel of expert speakers representing each of the major low carbon energy sectors – wind, solar, tidal, nuclear and waste-to-energy – on Thursday 25th May 2017, to hear their views on the direction we should be taking to secure our energy future.

This is the first in a short series of exclusive evening events by Low Carbon South West in partnership with Smith & Williamson investigating the most pressing issues and upcoming developments affecting low carbon industries.
